Linger is a non-player character appearing in The Landscape Campaign. She has acted as a quest-giver and reward broker for the player characters, attempting to have them help her in a territory dispute with rival dragons. Linger's agent Tophat McMonocle joined the group at her request.
Description[]
Linger has proven to be incredibly knowledgeable about the PCs, knowing several of their secrets, and hinting at destinies they may achieve. She has tried to remain secretive around them, telling them only so much about ongoing events. Linger is a member of the Metallic Dragon faction.
Late in the first season of the Landscape, Linger's lair was attacked by the platinum dragon Broxinullst, resulting in the murder of her apprentice Aveven, and the banishment of Linger to the Isles of Carceri.
There, Linger became the prisoner of the Gatewatcher, until she was rescued by the adventurers in season 2. Upon returning to the PMP, Linger left the group, joining Gust in the formation of the Knights of the Bronze Dragon.
