Born in the Jamesville district of New Arcadia to Lauren and Carter Hoffman, he was named after his father. Carter senior was a Deputy Chief in the NAPD, responsible for the neighbouring New Detroit precinct. A strict and hardworking man, Carter Sr. was an asset to the NAPD but a distant father and husband. Carter Jr was raised predominantly by his mother Lauren. In his school years, Carter Jr. spent much of his time with sports. He played on his school baseball and wrestling teams, and in his senior year took first place in the district wrestling finals. He was offered an athletic scholarship to Jamesville District College and was ready to accept, when, tragedy struck...
Lauren Hoffman was killed in a botched robbery in their Jamesville home. Carter Sr. retreated further into his work , and Jr was left to fend for himself. Carter decided to give up his scholarship and enter the workforce, working a number of jobs in construction, trades, and security, before finally arriving at the Haven Security Group as a guard. Haven proved perfect for Carter, who's skill and passion allowed him to quickly work his way up the company. He met his wife, Elizabeth, a Haven receptionist, and has been happily married for 16 years with a 12 year old son.
Today, Carter has worked his way to CEO of the Haven Group and lives as an example to all New Arcadians: a hard working, passionate family man, fighting to protect the values and safety of people everywhere.
